Accounting Manager

Hybrid work schedule must be local to West Bloomfield, MI
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year plus 10% bonus

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join a growing team. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements. This position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on accounting expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: Oversee full-cycle AP, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and vendor reconciliations.
- Corporate Credit Card Program: Manage card issuance, spending limits, and policy compliance.
- Month-End Close: Assist in reviewing the monthly expense package and contribute to the close process.
- Fixed Assets: Manage asset recording and depreciation schedules.
- Lease Accounting: Ensure accurate lease recording and Right-of-Use (ROU) asset depreciation in accordance with ASC standards.
- Expense Analysis & Reporting: Analyze expenses, identify trends, and prepare management reports.
- Intercompany Accounting: Handle intercompany transactions, invoicing, reconciliation, and eliminations.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Experience with accounting software (Sage is a plus).
