What's a typical day as an Accounting Clerk III? You'll be:
- Collaborating with personnel to assist the company's migration to QuickBooks
- Assisting with financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Managing payroll and related remittances
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Performing regular balance sheet reconciliations and conducting financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Developing and implementing financial controls and procedures
- Monitoring accounts payable activities and assisting with monthly financial reports
- Collaborating with external auditors during annual financial statement and taxation engagements
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a strong background in accounting with a focus on financial operations and compliance. Min 5 years
- Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Possess experience with financial software, especially QuickBooks
- Are detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and managing payroll
- Are proficient in developing financial controls and procedures
