Kelly Services is hiring for an Accountant in Kilgore, TX!

Pay: $29/hour
Schedule: Mon - Fri 7a-4p

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, prepare and analyze financial statements
• Accurately calculate commissions based on sales data and established compensation plans
• Track and maintain accurate records of materials, labor costs, and project expenses
• Perform light clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and handling correspondence
• Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and clients to manage project timelines and expectations
• Accurately prepare and submit invoices, purchase orders, and progress reports
• Coordinate logistics and planning of material deliveries

Work Experience:

• Three to five years of experience in accounting role, preferably in the flooring or construction industry
• Track record of managing budgets, financial reports, and vendor relationship

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software e.g., QuickBooks
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding tax laws in multiple states and how to stay in compliance
