Cost Accountant
White, Georgia – on site daily
Salary – based on experience $80-95k

Join a growing manufacturing team as a Cost Accountant, where you'll play a key role in financial analysis, cost control, and inventory management. This position reports directly to the Controller and offers the opportunity to
partner with operations, supply chain, and finance to drive profitability and efficiency.
 
What You'll Do

  • Analyze operating results, budgets, and forecasts; deliver executive-level reporting and insights.
  • Conduct cost analysis on production, labor, and overhead to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Partner with leadership on pricing strategies, capital projects, and profitability improvement.
  • Oversee inventory valuation, controls, and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries, P&L reports, and audit schedules; ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Build and refine reporting models to streamline budgeting and forecasting processes.
 
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in manufacturing/inventory accounting
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP or equivalent)
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a track record of accuracy and initiative
