Accountant / Accounting Assistant
North Wales PA on site 5 days a week
Direct hire
Newly created position due to client growth
Looking to train/mentor accounting college graduate
Salary $50-55k plus benefits

A growing company committed to excellence and innovation looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant / Accounting Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with a degree in accounting who is eager to learn, grow, and build a career in accounting. They provide comprehensive training and mentorship to help you develop the skills needed for long-term success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
  • Support general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
  • Help prepare financial reports and statements
  • Assist with payroll and expense reporting
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Learn and apply accounting principles, company procedures, and best practices

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
