Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

What's a typical day as an Account Manager? You'll be:
• Servicing existing clients' insurance needs and quoting new business for assigned Producers.
• Remarketing select existing clients at the time of their renewal and cross-selling accounts.
• Executing changes and endorsements requested from clients and producers.
• Responding to inquiries from Agency insureds, prospects, and Producers.
• Completing applications, rating and quoting risks for new and renewal business.
• Scanning all correspondence and attaching it to the appropriate client's file in the management system.
• Processing miscellaneous changes, billing inquiries, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Preparing policies and endorsements for delivery.
• Forwarding claim inquiries to our claim representative and/or carrier.
• Preparing key accounts for review prior to renewal, updating files, account information, and preparing recommendations for upgrading coverages.
• Performing data entry.
• Handling any other duties assigned as appropriate for the position.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are a NYS Licensed Account Manager with a minimum of three years of Property Casualty Insurance experience in the independent Agency environment.
• Have excellent telephone etiquette, a friendly outgoing personality, and are a person of character and integrity.
• Are computer savvy with the ability to learn new software.
• Have present knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Have experience with AMS360 agency management system (a plus).
