2nd Shift - Warehouse Distribution Associate

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Distribution Associate to join our team in Remington, IN. As a crucial part of the distribution team, the DC Associate is responsible for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse. You will verify inventory quantities, assist in maintaining inventory levels, ensure complete and accurate paperwork, and operate warehouse equipment safely.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM
Pay Rate: $19.55 per hour
Location: Remington, IN
Position Type: Temp to Hire


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Mark pallets with identifying store information.
  • Use lift equipment, such as a manual pallet jack or forklift (training and certification provided).
  • Pick and stage parts for store replenishment.
  • Utilize a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner).
  • Have the ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Perform basic math accurately for units of measure, whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear regularly.
  • Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or stoop.
  • Occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
  • Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds (heavier items with equipment assistance).
  • Possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment:
  • Engage in bending/stooping and reaching into totes.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • High noise levels may occasionally occur.
