The Associate Procurement Representative supports procurement strategies that meet the organization's operational needs. This entry-level role focuses on sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships in line with company policies and goals. Ideal for candidates with at least one year of procurement experience and a desire to learn from senior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of procurement plans and sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct market research, identify vendors, and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with business partners to meet purchasing needs efficiently.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Track procurement metrics and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct RFPs, bids, and contract administration as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support departmental objectives.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experiences:

  • 1+ year of procurement experience with knowledge of sourcing and purchasing practices.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and contract management principles.
  • Understanding of vendor relationship management, compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills (excel and PowerBI a bonus).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Customer service oriented
