Under general supervision of the Clinical Director, the Vascular Technologist is responsible and accountable for the delivery of skilled testing of peripheral vascular and arterial cases, EKG, EEG, treadmill testing and Holter testing and scanning. Also performs a variety of departmental functions including filing, transcribing and scheduling procedures.

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent education

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
2 years relevant experience in a hospital environment required.

Required License/Certification: Must have an appropriate credential. Acceptable credentials are:
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT);
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or
• Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)];

If the vascular technologist does not have this credential upon hire, the credential should be obtained within 1 (one) year from hire date.

Valid BCLS certification for the healthcare provider. (AHA)

The hourly rate range for this position is $39.00 to $64.00.
