Under the general guidance of the Medical Director, general supervision of the Associate Administrator of Ancillary Services, and direct supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Manager, the Exercise Physiologist II is responsible and accountable for the delivery of skilled cardiopulmonary rehab including: EKG-holter and pulse oximeter monitoring, individualized health education, and evidence-based exercise programming.


Minimum Education: Master's degree in exercise physiology or kinesiology/exercise science or Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology or kinesiology/exercise science and master's degree in closely related field Minimum Experience/Knowledge: One (1) year EKG experience or 12-Lead EKG course or certification Five (5) years of experience in cardiac rehabilitation providing evidence-based exercise programming Knowledgeable in medical terminology Required License/Certification: BCLS/ACLS certification required BCLS and ACLS must be AHA certified As part of Keck Medicine of USC, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital is the only community hospital in the Foothills area of Los Angeles backed by an academic medical center.
