John Muir Specialty Medical Group is seeking a well-trained Gastroenterologist with a direct focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Physician to develop and grow the IBD program and is committed to excellent patient care to join our Bay Area team in highly desirable Walnut Creek, CA. You will be joining a well-respected group of general and therapeutic gastroenterologists in an organization with a long-standing presence and strong reputation in the community, state and nation. We have a network of more than 300 primary care physicians, more than 6,000 employees, medical centers in Concord, Walnut Creek and San Ramon as well as an outpatient GI presence at multiple sites in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. John Muir has partnerships with UCSF Health and Stanford Children's Health.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Expertise and additional training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
  • Graduate from an accredited school of medicine
  • Must maintain current CPR and DEA registration
  • Must possess or acquire a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
  • Training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Not a J-1 destination
