We have immediate opportunities for Dynamics 365 F&O Commerce (Retail | Functional & Technical) experts to join our team as Customer Engineers (CEs). This is a remote (home-based), salaried role with great benefits and a fantastic team.
As a CE, you'll help enterprise retail customers modernize operations and deliver AI-enhanced shopping experiences. In this senior, customer-facing role, you'll work across both functional and technical domains, advising business stakeholders and IT teams on how to integrate D365 Commerce into their digital retail strategy.
You'll guide customers through retail transformation — from store systems and POS to back-office inventory, AI-powered personalization, and omnichannel optimization.operations. You'll ensure scalability, resiliency, and governance across every layer of the hybrid cloud.
Location: Remote US. CEs are home-based and typically deliver services via Microsoft Teams.
Salary Range: $100K – $110K based on experience
Primary Work Includes:
- Participate in the development of workshops and implementation planning for Dynamics 365 Commerce, including POS systems, store operations, loyalty programs, and pricing engines.
- Advise and consult with stakeholders to optimize retail supply chain, fulfillment, and merchandising workflows using D365 F&O.
- Provide both functional guidance (business process design, retail workflows, commerce rules) and technical leadership (customization, integrations, data modeling).
- Provide guidance to customers on the integration of AI-powered insights (e.g., customer behavior analysis, predictive inventory, intelligent recommendations) using Dynamics 365 + Azure tools.
- Support customers' efforts on the rollout of omnichannel strategies, enabling seamless customer journeys across physical and digital storefronts.
- Consult with customers regarding deployments with Microsoft's Industry Cloud for Retail and adopt best practices for scale, resilience, and compliance.
- Guide customers through troubleshooting performance, data sync, and extensibility issues across the commerce stack.

- AI & Personalization: AI Builder, Azure Machine Learning, Customer Insights, Dynamics 365 Copilot
- Integration: Power Platform, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft 365, third-party e-commerce platforms
- Functional Areas: Store ops, pricing, discounts, inventory, merchandising, loyalty
- Technical Expertise: Extension/customization using X++, Retail SDK, Commerce Scale Units
- Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, Commerce analytics, Retail KPIs
The Experience You'll Need to Excel in the Role:
- 15 + years of IT experience
- 7+ years working in Dynamics 365 F&O and/or Commerce (Retail) implementation roles.
- Functional knowledge of end-to-end retail processes and customer journey design.
- Hands-on experience customizing and extending D365 Commerce for large-scale deployments.
- Exposure to AI/ML or customer insight tools that support retail personalization.
- Strong ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders across retail and IT.
