Position Summary

As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Jackson Medical Group, a growing multi-specialty physician network of over 40 physicians who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at over 7 different specialty care centers seek to hire a Urologist to create, develop and build our specialty practice in the Southern Miami-Dade County area. Jackson South Medical Center and our multi-specialty private practices will serve as referral centers.
The JMG Associate Medical Director/Urologist is responsible for the planning, diagnostic development, management and evaluation of medical/services at the clinic/center of responsibility.

  • Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS patients.

Education
Doctorate degree in Medicine is required.

Experience
Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience.

License/Certification
  • Valid Florida Medical License.
  • DEA and board certification or eligible in Urology are required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
