Solutions Architect

Location: New York City | Hybrid

The Professional Services team is a global organization responsible for delivering Innovative solutions to many of the leading Banks and Financial organizations in the world. The team does this by providing structured engagements centering on: 1. Intralinks API Consultation, 2. Integration and Automation, and 3. Delivery of client specific solutions that extends the capabilities of Intralinks Platform and Product Suites. Reporting to the sales organization the Professional Services Team plays a major part in extending the value of our products to our customers and delivering high value business solutions.

The Solutions Architect will be solution-focused technical professional responsible for representing Professional Services in the solutions design phase of the project implementation life cycle, and then overseeing the technical delivery of these solutions. The Solutions Architect can review current scenario and recommend solutions for future state, with specific focus on integration and custom development against the platform.  The Senior Solutions Architect should have development experience and be skilled in areas including but not limited to: cloud technologies, database administration, infrastructure design, and other technical concepts/architecture, or able to learn and fill the gap in knowledge in a very short period of time.

What You Will Get To Do: 

• Proactively identify new service opportunities / needs through direct client interaction, and work closely with the cross functional teams to assemble solutions to meet the client needs
• Assist with growing a services bookings and revenue to enable Intralinks new business software revenue growth and expand existing customer relationships, supporting the sales team.
• Assist with the delivery of value focused / results oriented Professional Services proposals
• Lead/participate in client requirement gathering sessions to define and understand the overall client use case, requirements, infrastructure, pain points and existing systems
• Responsible for analyzing and translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives.
• Propose, recommend and implement solutions based on best practices, architecture principles and rational sense
• Work with internal stakeholders to assign proper resources to ensure success delivery of the project

 What You Will Bring:

• Excellent understanding of SaaS architecture and REST API, XML/XSD/JSON, Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• 5+ years of experience in multiple IT areas or 5+ years of relevant architecture and PM experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering and integration.
• Hands on experience in client solutions development sessions to recommend project scope, price and phasing
• Knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering and integration.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams including Product Management, Development, Sales, Pre-sales and marketing.

It would be great if you also: 

• Have a portfolio of previous SaaS projects & solutions
• Have experience with technologies such as SFTP/AWS S3/Azure Blob Storage/Google Could Storage. 
• Have attended training or practiced agile scrum in software development 
• Have experience in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Alternative Investments or Financial Services industry 
• Experience building applications for Android and iOS
• UI Prototyping
• POCs (Proof of Concept)
• API Prototyping using a programming language or rest client?
