What You Will Get To Do:

The Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst / Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading the development and execution of sourcing strategies across multiple categories. The role focuses on delivering cost savings, enhancing supplier performance, and supporting the company's overall procurement objectives. Success in this position requires advanced analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and strong influencing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive complex renewal cycles from initiation through negotiation and final execution
  • Lead development and execution of sourcing strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Manage complex RFPs and present recommendations to executive stakeholders
  • Negotiate high-value contracts and oversee compliance throughout the lifecycle
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships and monitor performance against KPIs
  • Analyze global spend data to identify trends, forecast demand, and inform decisions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing category insights and market intelligence
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to sourcing best practices
  • Proactively assess supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and product development to align sourcing strategies with business needs
  • Provide mentorship to junior sourcing analysts, sharing best practices and supporting development

Essential Requirements:

  • Extensive IT procurement experience with deep knowledge of US market regulations and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
  • US Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the US IT market, including trends, suppliers, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO-27001:2022).
  • Ability to operate across US time zones and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Time Zone Flexibility: Ability to work in a flexible schedule to accommodate US time zones (e.g., Eastern, Central, Pacific) and respond to urgent requests.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, to effectively interact with US stakeholders.
  • Expertise in USD contracting, tax/accounting principles, and data security standards
  • Strong remote collaboration skills and proficiency with procurement systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement leadership roles
  • Global sourcing experience, including cloud services and digital transformation initiatives
  • Advanced spend analytics and category management expertise
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and influence executive decision-making
  • CPSM, CPP, or similar certifications (optional)

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively with US stakeholders. Teamwork, adaptability and conflict resolution skills.

  • Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a global environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions in a global context.
  • High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to manage competing deadlines

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and global supplier engagements
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and procurement tools (SAP, Oracle, Workday; Smartsheet preferred)
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, contract law, and cost analysis
  • CPSM, CPP, or similar certifications (optional)
