What are we looking for?

The Senior Project Coordinator (Hybrid) will be responsible for managing top tier client requirements and expectations utilizing knowledge, company policies, standards and practices while also developing new processes when necessary. Responsible for ensuring client requests, inspections, and results are successfully delivered to our customer base. Directs/coordinates the activities of our field-based personnel to ensure that equipment and material are properly inspected, conforming to client requirements.

Shift/Schedule: This is a Regular, Full Time position working 40 hours per week.

Location: The Woodlands, TX

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the main point of contact and liaison between Intertek, the client, and its field-based resources (Inspectors, Expeditors, Auditors)
  • Ensures that the scheduling and reporting functions are operating efficiently to ensure client needs are being met
  • Interacts cross-departmentally and with other Intertek divisions as needed to accommodate client needs

  • Interfaces with international Intertek offices within TIS when scope dictates

  • Ensures timely and accurate scheduling and reporting of preliminary and final inspection results
  • Provides clear and concise assignment instructions to the field resources in accordance with client instruction and contractual requirements
  • Verifies field resources are paid correctly and on time by auditing and approving timesheets for accuracy during the indicated payroll period
  • Manages all assignments in Intertek's work process management system and may require working within client systems
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of invoices for assignments under your control
  • Actively seek to strengthen relationships with client personnel through regular follow up and proactive communication
  • May be responsible for leading a small team if size of client necessitates
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience – preferably in the Oil, Gas, and Energy market sector.
  • Must master Project Coordination Charter course during training within 90-day period.
  • High degree of personal integrity and the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft windows office suite required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
  • Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
