Business Manager – US Remote

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world's top-recognized brands and companies, is actively seeking a Business Manager to join our Business Assurance team in the United States - Remote. What are we looking for?

The Business Manager is a high-impact, newly created role dedicated to forging strong internal partnerships with our parent, Intertek, to rapidly create, expand, and maximize shared opportunities. This position will travel at least 15% of the time.

What you'll do:

  • Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement across Intertek Group business lines
  • Sales & Revenue Generation with a focus on our high-opportunity business lines to develop partnership, collaboration, and cross-selling activities
  • Go-To-Market execution and operationalizing of GMA/Channel strategic priorities 
  • Solution Packaging & Integration for targeted sectors such as medical devices, electrical, construction, etc.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 or more years of B2B or B2C experience 
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, revenue targets, and/or defined business outcomes
  • Must be able to able to work well with in complex and at times ambiguous situations, as well as a strong self-starter
  • Model Intertek's 10X Energies at all times within the work place, practicing business the right way
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management 
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
  • Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate
  • This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States. 

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience with sales operations, executing strategic initiatives and priorities 
  • Familiarity with Standards
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
