Your impact 

As an integral member of the Human Resources total rewards team, you will own, manage and continue to build companywide well-being program; you will provide critical support in the management, administration, implementation and strategic direction of the global health, welfare, retirement plans, and other ancillary programs and perks. You will oversee the quality control for the global benefit programs; create new employee and manager training programs and communications. You will use existing and create new metrics in order to help shape the strategic direction of the benefit programs. You have a significant opportunity to grow your health, welfare and retirement business acumen, as well as financial and project management skills. 

What you will do 

  • You own the global well-being program; manage the platform with the third-party, create challenges, rewards programs, chair the well-being committee and obtain continuous feedback from well-being champions;
  • You are the front-line liaison with third-party partners and insurers and responsible for the correct administration of all programs and their performance; 
  • You audit summary plan descriptions for accuracy, manage annual plan audits, recommend changes, manage employee eligibility and payment of invoices;
  • You develop, implement and manage employee communications of new and existing programs;
  • You serve as lead project manager on select projects and interact with internal departments and external partners;
  • You provide strategic direction, with support of leadership, of new programs, changes to existing programs; you use analytics, modeling, third-party partner reports and survey data to support your recommendations of new well-being initiatives and plan design changes to benefit programs and create presentations for leadership;
  • You manage all employee leave of absence programs and interact with your HR colleagues, the medical unit and legal department as needed;
  • You have a high-level knowledge of laws, such as; ACA, ADA, COBRA, FMLA and HIPAA
  • You develop and present presentations to all levels of the company

 

 Your required experience/skills 

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5 years' relevant experience with strategic management of benefit programs, particularly well-being programs
  • Strong individual leadership skills ~  See it…own it…fix it…drive it…
  • Customer interaction, team/matrix leadership, facilitation and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and assess complex issues and create solutions
  • Ability to develop metrics, work with teams to capture and track data, analyze and make recommendations based on data
  • Ability to analyze & recommend - not just an ability to produce Excel pages for others to analyze
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work with ambiguity
