Position Overview

As a Technical Solution Executive (TSE) you’ll work with the Insight Client Executive (CE), Microsoft Account Manager (MAM), Cloud Success Manager, and various sales organizations to consult with end clients regarding Microsoft cloud-based solutions, and developing product and services opportunities.  Insight is looking for inspiring and talented individuals who can architect and implement creative solutions and 'achieve great things' in engineering with the Microsoft platforms. Insight seeks experienced Microsoft Enterprise Architects that are passionate about emerging technologies and are looking for a new challenging task to work for the industry-leading Microsoft partner in the world.

What you’ll do at Insight

  • The TSE will focus on achieving sales and profit goals through verbal and written interaction with the clients, possible onsite visits, account planning, partner teaming and account team engagement, as well as solution development and implementation.
  • This position leverages personal Microsoft technical knowledge as well as available internal/external organizational resources to develop and propose Microsoft solutions to clients. 
  • Serve as an expert Microsoft technical resource for Insight Sales organizations to help drive Microsoft technologies and services for a catalog of solutions, including the entire Microsoft 365 stack and/or Azure, with specific focus around Power Platform solutions. 
  • Lead customers to define business needs, and solving business problems with Microsoft solutions.
  • The incumbent skills are directed at the technical knowledge, solution selling strategies and best practices of how to position Microsoft-specific technologies to clients.

 

What you’ll need to join Insight

  • An effective body of relevant industry experience in an enterprise environment
    • Experience in the deployment of Microsoft cloud-based technologies; including a required focus on all Power Platform workloads
    • Experience in communicating expectations around technology enablement
  • An understanding of the Microsoft selling motion along with the assessment model to drive larger deals
  • A proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through
  • Experience consulting on the migration of premises workloads to the cloud
  • Ability to prioritize time and maintain meeting expectations for both Customers and Sales
  • Ability to facilitate program communications, identify and implement continuous improvement practices, and provide regular status reports as required
  • Strong cross team collaboration skills and an ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan, and mitigate subsequent issues
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with demanding customers, strong project management skills, and demonstrated success in implementing solutions within a fast-paced organization
  • High-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations
  • Ability to create a scope of effort with all required dependencies
  • Ability to create and lead customer facing presentations
  • Ability to perform customer Workshops around relevant technologies
  • Ability to accommodate some travel (dependent on local and corporate restrictions)
  • Currently hold certifications in relevant technologies

 

Primary Skills Required

  • Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate
    • Expert knowledge of solution deployment and configuration
    • Working knowledge of App and Flow development
    • Licensing requirements based on client business needs
  • Microsoft Power BI
    • Expert knowledge of solution deployment and configuration
    • Working knowledge of Report and Dashboard development
    • Licensing requirements based on client business needs

 

Core Skills Required

  • Microsoft Modern Workplace and/or Azure (Proficiency in both solution areas is helpful; proficiency in one solution area is required):
    • Microsoft Modern Workplace:
      • Microsoft 365 Solution consulting (all workloads); including Enterprise, Corporate, and Commercial business environments
      • Azure Active Directory and Hybrid Identity consulting
      • Relevant certifications highly preferred
    • Microsoft Azure
      • Azure solution consulting; including Enterprise, Corporate, and Commercial business environments
      • Resource configuration and management consulting; including core services, management tools, security features
      • Identity management consulting
      • Focused consulting experience regarding deployment and configuration pertinent to Power Platform
  • Working knowledge of premises and cloud technologies pertinent and peripheral to Microsoft Modern Workplace and/or Azure workload consulting; including but not limited to:
    • Networking applications and protocols
    • Microsoft Server infrastructure and application environments
    • Enterprise data center concepts
    • Ability to research 3rd-party products, and measure their impact to a Microsoft Modern Workplace consulting engagement based on their functionality

 

*Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 with Variable Compensation Plan
