Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurse
Inova Health System's Mount Vernon Hospital is looking for a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurse. This role is full-time, M-F, 8a-5:30p.
Responsibilities:
The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurse fosters high standards of practice relating to the care, teaching and administration of treatments to persons requiring hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Provides safe, therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes. Develops and monitors standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to improve care and practice continuously, and to enhance outcomes. Requirements:
- Hours: full-time, M-F, 8a-5:30p
- Location: Inova Mount Vernon Hospital
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Licensure/Certifications: Registered Nurse License in the Commonwealth of Virginia; BLS & ACLS from the American Heart Association; Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse or Certified Hyperbaric Technician Certification Within 18 months of Hire Date
