Ingram Content Group (ICG)is hiring for a Sr. National Account Sales Manager to contribute to our International Sales team in Dandenong South, Australia

The Sr. National Account Sales Manager manages assigned sales region for Ingram Content Group; to include: Ingram Book Company/Wholesale (IBC), Consumer Direct Fulfillment (CDF), Lightning Source Inc. (LSI).  Promotes, coordinates, and participates in sales and/or service activities among selected accounts or prospects in assigned territories. Represents the company with respect to promotion, sales, and service of its product line to a variety of customers and prospects within an assigned geographical territory.  Develops business with both new and existing key accounts and generates revenue and/or profit margin in assigned accounts and territories maintaining client relationship post-sale.  Reports to leadership on industry and market trends, customer and market requirements, and competitive landscape.

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • College / University degree
  • 5 years of experience in sales OR book industry

We have a preference for:

  • Ability to travel within home market and internationally to assigned territories. (10-15%)
  • Ability to develop sales forecasts, set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and/or monthly basis.
  • Adherence to deadlines and meeting key deliverables.
  • Critical thinking, time management and organizational skills
  • Experience executing a sales-focused and customer-centric approach
  • Proven track record in previous sales role
  • Knowledge of the book industry
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Personal computing skills to include MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint)

Sr. National Account Sales Manager Key Responsibilities are:

  • Manages existing customer relationships, which consists of managing sales, terms of sale, memorandum of understanding and sales tracking, while collaborating with marketing team to develop strategy. 
  • Prepares customer specific sales and pricing strategy consisting of preparing MOU (contracts), TOS, New Account Opening Forms, Credit Application and other required forms to attain business.
  • Works with leadership to negotiate freight, discount terms and other required services on a continual basis.
  • Analyzes needs of potential retail customers and recommends relevant suite of applicable Ingram services; ensuring a pipeline of potential is maintained.
  • Attends trades shows representing ICG at industry Fairs.
  • Provides channel sales management for LSI AUS, US Wholesale and UK Wholesale.
  • Reports on market, industry and competitive intelligence on a regular basis preparing periodic commercial review presentations to senior staff.
  • Works with additional ICG departments, where appropriate, to develop customer solutions and communications as well as ensure appropriate service levels are being met.
  • Ensures high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
  • Informs customers of supply and price trends and assists in inventory control.
  • Keeps informed of new products and/or services, both physical and digital, to include CDF, CSF, CoreSource Plus, and Ingram Data Services offerings.
  • Ensures successful market visits with Senior Leadership, including scheduling of meetings, presentations for meetings and coordinating any other scheduled activities during visit.
