Ingram Content Group (ICG)is hiring Large Packers to start IMMEDIATELY with our Operations team in La Vergne, TN.

What You'll Need:

  • 6 months in at least one previous job
  • 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 60 lbs repetitively during a scheduled shift in which meeting production standards was a requirement

What You'll Do:

  • Pulls correct product for the order by ISBN
  • Verifies pull sheet which indicates the correct work order number, Title Code, ISBN, location, and the quantity of books
  • Pulls books located on pull sheets
  • Assembles, wraps, and labels order with the correct quantity and cartons(s).  
  • Verifies accuracy of the work order for each client by having the proper shipping label with each order
  • Categorizes each order by size and places each carton or skid
  • Documents work orders neatly and correctly
  • Ensures work order is delivered  to Lead Shipping Clerk
  • Works details as assigned by management.
  • Reading comprehension skills up to high school level
  • Writing skills up to high school level
  • Math skills – basic arithmetic, addition, subtraction
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
  • Ability to work independently or collaborate in a group environment
  • Ability to be flexible/multi-task based on workflow demands
  • Ability to meet and maintain production standards
  • Ability to maintain reasonably reliable attendance
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs repetitively
  • Ability to see details at close range
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand gripping, bending, reaching
  • Constant standing, walking, and pushing on concrete floors
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to work designated shift
  • Exposure to a wide range of temperatures
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment
