Position Overview: As the Director of Operations you'll lead a dynamic operations turnaround, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Strategic Operations Leadership: Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives and enhance operational performance within the facility. * Culture and Engagement: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff to build a high-performing and engaged workforce. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment with company goals. Cultivate a positive, results-driven environment for both hourly and salaried team members. * Facility Turnaround Management: Oversee the comprehensive turnaround of the logistics building, focusing on improving operational workflows, optimizing space utilization, and enhancing overall functionality. * Customer Relationship Management: Lead site operations with a customer-centric approach, ensuring operations consistently exceed a high level of client expectations and internal benchmarks. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction in a highly visible location. * Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and optimize resource utilization. * Capacity and Resource Planning: Oversee capacity planning and resource allocation to meet customer demands and future growth, ensuring scalability of operations. * Technology Integration: Leverage technology, including warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation tools, to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and reporting. * P&L Accountability: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability for multiple facilities. Oversee financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and margin management. * Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to customer requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Implement programs to ensure safety and security of employees, products, and facilities. * Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analytics and performance metrics to drive decisions, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report operational performance to senior leadership. Benefits * Medical, Dental, Vision (1st day of the month following date of hire) * 401K with matching program * STD, LTD * Vacation and sick time * Friendly and Open-Door culture Compensation for fully qualified candidates range from $135,000 - $150,000 Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or related field. * Minimum of 8+ years in leadership roles overseeing e-commerce, fulfillment, and food-grade warehouse operations with full P&L accountability. * Expertise in safety, performance management, budgeting, and cost control across multiple facilities * Lean/Six Sigma certification, advanced WMS experience, and a history of continuous process improvement. * Strong knowledge of OSHA and industry regulations. * Willingness to travel 50% of the time. * Regulatory audit experience Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
