Responsible for providing direction to one or more Forklift Operators/LTO, complete and provide trainings, assigning work, drive safety, provide supports to supervisor and resolving problems within area of responsibility. Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, standup, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials from rail cars in distribution center or storage yard. Responsibilities: * Operates industrial powered lift truck in a safe and efficient manner. * Assist and supports with training employees and certifies newly hired LTOs. * In the absence of the Shift Supervisor the Lead will act as Supervisor as needed * Inventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed. * Assists Supervisors and management of the facility in planning, assigning and directing work. * Assist LTO's with daily issues. * Assist other Leads and Supervisors with ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are being followed. * Need to Case Pick daily and/or as needed based on business needs. * Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. * Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. * Other duties as assigned. * Assist with onboarding and safety training. * Assist the Ops Managers, Supervisors and GM/HRM with special projects. * Schedule flexibility is a must base on business needs. Schedule: 2nd Shifts, Mon-Fri/3:00pm to 12:30am Pay rate: $25.00. * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments. * Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.). * Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies. * Proficient with Microsoft word and Excel * Must have good and professional communication skills. * Must be a team player and embrace changes.
