Position Summary

This role will drive key performance indicators to enhance organizational focus on contracting and pricing strategies/execution necessary to support the development of individual/SSO/ GPO/Distributor contracts including price and T&Cs ensuring adherence to SSO/GPO strategies. Drive throughput, optimization and timely execution of individual/SSO/GPO/Distributor/ contracts. The Contracting Senior Analyst is accountable for price and contract strategy development and evaluation of all of ICU Medical's Canada's business including Infusion Systems, Consumables, and Specialty Businesses. Deliver contract excellence using performance analytics, dashboards and process improvements to drive efficiencies and support business initiatives. Optimize contracting processes within Model N capabilities and understanding of all impacts.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·       Responsible for all analytics and contract needs for Individual/SSO/GPO/Distributor RFP/RFI and bid requests

·       Individual/SSO/GPO/Distributor Contract Development, Implementation & Maintenance

·       Accountable for the management of all individual/SSO/GPO/Distributor customer contracting activities (contract lifecycle)

·       Action Contract Expirations and Individual/SSO/GPO/Distributor Contract Amendments, LOxs, etc. including all contracting (new and renewals)

·       Manage the ONE ICU Contract Calendar

·       Key performance indicators will inform the business regarding contract turnaround time, most frequently negotiated contract clauses, effectiveness of pricing strategies (quote tool), the robustness of the opportunity pipeline, the effectiveness of operational improvements (example: MedNet and ESA billings), and overall performance of the contracting effort

·       Manage bottom line revenue enhancement for ICU Medical through the Contract anniversary renewal process and price management strategies

·       Lead Senior Administrator, Contract and Compliance and Analyst, Contract – Data  to respond to Pricing Inquiries and Actions

·       Develop and Manage Tools (quote tool, anniversary tool, etc.)

·       Internally Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Field Sales to both strategically and tactically manage contracting needs

·       Field Point-of-Contact

·       This collaborative role will need to interface effectively with leadership in sales, services, finance, legal, and other functions to ensure optimal cross-function communication and cooperation. 

·       Accountable for working with all of ICU Medical's Canada's business including Infusion Systems, Consumables, and Specialty Businesses and associated Sales and Management Leaders to provide analytical support and identify strategic exceptions and/or maximize opportunities to grow sales and margin within defined parameters.

·       Enforce the team's adherence to ICU Medical policies by promoting, developing and monitoring Standard Operating Procedures

·       Identify and pursue projects to enhance contracting and operational efficiencies

·       Work on special projects as assigned

 

Knowledge & Skills

·       Significant knowledge base in and experience with the medical device business, Customer base, and GPO landscape

·       Ability to communicate effectively with sales, Customers, and internal functional departments to ensure Customer centricity and speed

·       Strong analytical skills and creative approach to developing effective sales tools to support the business.  Strong negotiation skills.

 

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience

·       Must be at least 18 years of age

·       Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics or related field or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus

·       6+ years' experience in Contracting preferred with a minimum of  2 years of experience in the Medical Industry

·       Prior Model N experience (preferred)

 

Work Environment

·       This is largely a sedentary role.

·       This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

·       Typically requires travel less than 10% of the time
