Position Summary

The Manager, HR Service Center will oversee and lead a dynamic team of HR Shared Services professionals responsible for maintaining HRIS system data and executing HR back-office processes. This role will be pivotal in driving service excellence within the HR Shared Services team, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HR Operations, this position will ensure adherence to policies and standards in day-to-day operations. This position entails being a hands-on manager, where the individual is expected to fulfill their designated duties while overseeing a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and empower the HR Shared Services team, fostering their professional growth and development while nurturing a collaborative high-performance culture. Prioritize results, accountability, business acumen, critical thinking, and data integrity.
  • Ensure the HR Shared Services team delivers exceptional customer service, emphasizing timely and effective support.
  • Act as an escalation point for the Shared Services team, identifying root causes of issues and implementing effective resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with HR business partners, HRIS, and other Centers of Excellence to develop and continuously enhance processes and programs.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to troubleshoot HR systems, including HRIS platforms such as Oracle, ADP, or Workday, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
  • Manage and support HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, organizational changes, data entry, and associated procedures.
  • Lead process improvements aligned with HR strategy by identifying, mapping, project managing, and implementing changes while standardizing and automating processes.
  • Advocate for process documentation and training initiatives, ensuring alignment of business processes with system functionality and best practices. Develop comprehensive documentation, training aids, and facilitate training sessions as needed.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the HR Shared Services team, tracking metrics to drive performance improvements.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, actively soliciting and incorporating user feedback into process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to gather and integrate field input into the service delivery model.
  • Own the SharePoint site used by employees to access HR information, ensuring it serves as a comprehensive and user-friendly resource. Develop and maintain the site to provide valuable HR-related content and resources.
  • Foster relationships with Global HR teams to enhance communication, streamline processes, and identify efficiencies across regions.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in working in a global HR environment a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with the ability to communicate complex concepts in accessible terms for business stakeholders.
  • Experience in SharePoint site ownership and development, including knowledge of SharePoint best practices and ability to design and maintain a user-friendly interface.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing and presentation development.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management and end-user groups.
  • Ability to thrive in a hands-on environment, utilizing a consultative approach to navigate complex requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions.

 Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in US Corporate Human Resources.
  • Proven experience in effectively leading and managing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, experience with Oracle, ADP, or Workday preferred

 Minimum Qualifications:

·       Must be at least 18 years of age

 Travel Requirements:

·       Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time

 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: 

·       This is largely a sedentary role.

·       This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

.This role is based remotely; the incumbent may be remote in any state other than Colorado; California; Connecticut; Montana, Maine or New York.
