Position Summary

The purpose of this internship is to assist Supply Chain Data & Analytics Team in a number of strategic analysis projects and to automate a number of existing manual reports. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·       Design data model and automate assigned existing manual reports using advanced analytics such as Power Query and Power BI. Redesign reporting layout to enhance user interaction experience.

·       Prepare documentation for instruction to refresh redeveloped reporting

·       Work on strategic supply chain analysis projects as assigned to transform data into information by establishing hypotheses and utilizing data to identify root causes; employ rigorous analytical approaches, methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches

·       Participate in intern class activities

Knowledge & Skills

·       Strong analytical skills – advanced in analytics tools such as PowerBI and Power Query

·       Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication

·       Creative problem solver and critical thinker

·       Analytical work experience in extrapolating large data sets

·       Supply Chain experience and knowledge is preferred

·       Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint and capable of creating visually compelling presentations of data models / results

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience

·       Must be at least 18 years of age

·       High School Diploma required

·       Bachelor's degree with specialization in statistics, computer science, data science, or other technical /quantitative field preferred

Work Environment

·       This is largely a sedentary role.

·       This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

·       Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
