HTX Soccer is currently seeking qualified applicants for the Girls Academy Director position. The position will report directly to the HTX Soccer - Girls Director and is a full-time salaried position with an option for health benefits and 401K contributions.
The club is a non-for-profit, 501 (C)(3) organization with 8,500+ soccer members and provides playing opportunities for players of all ability levels from the age of 3-18 in Houston and the surrounding communities.
The position is responsible for several members of staff who collectively oversee the daily operations of the Girls Academy Program including the following areas:
- 7 teams, head coaches & support staff
- Game Model, Periodization, Curriculum & IDP Processes
- Budgeting & team travel planning
- Program scheduling & communication
- Player recruitment & college placement process
- Program marketing, social media and fundraising initiatives
- Oversee or conduct 6 training sessions per week and attend games each weekend accordant with a GA National League Schedule (Frontier Conference) and supporting competition platforms.
The position will start July 1, 2024. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- USSF ‘A' coaching license (or international equivalent).
- Collegiate / Professional playing experience
- 10 years coaching experience
- 5 years Director of Coaching experience
- Competent with Microsoft 365 & IOS
- Proficient with video analysis technology
- Candidate must pass a detailed risk management background check
- Candidate must be enthusiastic and hardworking with a growth mindset
- Candidate must have strong communication and leadership skills.
