Our laboratory team is looking for an ASCP registered, or registry eligible, Histotechnologist who believes in our Lab#s Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include specimen testing,#Histology/Cytology specimen processing and clerical duties.# REQUIREMENTS:#Associates Degree or graduate of an accredited program as a Histotechnologist or similar program;#Must have one year of recent experience as a Histotechnologist, including Immunohistochemistry and Frozen Section process. Preferred:#ASCP certification as a Histotechnologist (HT or HTL) Applicants must have: An excellent attention to detail. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement. A passion for caring for a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab. A drive to learn new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu.
