HealthFront P.C. is a physician-owned group in Santa Fe, NM who has been providing emergency care to our community for over 40 years. We are looking for motivated team-oriented PAs to join our Practice.
We staff the 46 bed ED at Christus St Vincent Regional Medical Center and care for a diverse population. You will see a wide variety of pathology, trauma, and complexity as well as work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Our PA's work closely with our physicians, who are motivated and willing to teach, while also working independently to their full scope of license. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience who wants a fulfilling long-term career in emergency medicine. The preferred candidate will be comfortable in the Emergency Setting, be self-motivated, ready to learn, and take excellent care of patients in a busy, fast paced, and high acuity setting.
At HealthFront, we believe in work-life balance. Our PA staff works between 12 and 14 8-hour shifts per month, allowing for ample days off. Additionally, HealthFront offers approximately 2 weeks of paid time off per year, which is accrued monthly.
Compensation is competitive. We target our hourly pay to be between the 50-75%tile of national pay for years of service (currently utilizing AAPA survey data). Our PAs currently have base rates ranging from $65 -$84 per hour based on years of experience. At 6 months we add an incentive pay program based on productivity data, current incentives range from $2.60 - $5.70 per hour depending on productivity. Base Rates are adjusted yearly. We have a generous benefit program, including malpractice insurance, health insurance, company funded health savings accounts, short term disability, 5% pension contribution, paid license renewals, and a yearly CME allowance. HealthFront is currently offering a $10,000 signing/relocation bonus.
Santa Fe, New Mexico is a high desert mountain city, 20 minutes from Ski Santa Fe. The area also offers expansive open spaces for mountain biking, rock climbing, and hiking in the surrounding forests and parks. Often regarded as a mecca of arts and culture, Santa Fe boasts an extensive network of art galleries and restaurants and offers a variety of immersive cultural experiences, including outdoor summer concerts, microbreweries, food and cultural festivals,
and a world class opera. Santa Fe is one hour from Albuquerque International Airport, and has many amenities of a larger city, while maintaining the feel of living in a small town.
