The Sr Manager Vendor Mgmt - Medicare Stars and Risk Adjustment will report to the Senior Director of Stars and Risk Adjustment Enablement and be responsible for leading a team that supports the operations and performance of the Stars and Risk Adjustment In-Home and In-Office Vendors. This role will maintain matrix-oriented relationships with key functional areas that contribute to supporting Risk Adjustment accuracy and completeness, HEDIS gap closure, improved health outcomes/preventative care and improved member experience.Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years of process improvement of core operational functions OR 11 years of process improvement of core operational functions and managing supplier relationships. This should include experience playing lead role in program/project level delivery.
- 3 years of management experience
- Project management experience and effective team leadership skills.
- Business knowledge to help HCSC Operations achieve service targets.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and performance.
- Experience managing difficult relationships and resolving conflict.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and execute while navigating customer relationships.
- Hands on experience using modern operational excellence and continuous improvement methods (LEAN, TPM, 6 Sigma, TQM) with basic knowledge of these methodologies.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication, analytical and collaboration skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Vendor Management experience preferred
- Understanding and knowledge of CMS Stars Program with strong knowledge of HEDIS
- 3+ years of Risk Adjustment experience
- Experience in performance management, project management and advanced analytics
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills and an ability to influence at multiple organizational levels
- High level of confidence and interpersonal savvy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated success leading and supporting cross-functional teams
- Experience with actuarial, finance and/or operational activities of a health plan
- Ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines and collaborate with key business partners in a matrix environment
This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office / 2 days work from home.
