C1 (Customer First) Innovation Lab (Dallas)—Helping Customers Reimagine Health Insurance and Maximize Return on their Health Life. Since 2017 in West End district, the C1 Innovation Lab has served as a place where HCSC and its clients reimagine explore, nurture, and activate forward-thinking solutions that reduce health care expenses and improve health outcomes. As we anticipate eminent changes in our socio, technical, and environmental landscapes we look for the C1 Lab to help proactively address optimal health management opportunities for our clients and their employees. Do you have a propensity to effectively explore possible futures and an internal compass with to anticipate and navigate (derisk) unintended consequences? Do you have an insatiable desire to create human-centered solutions for some of healthcare's most intractable challenges? We are looking for a very experienced design practitioner to evolve our prognosticative innovation strategy and practice. This includes synergizing known and yet to be discovered improvements for organizational and technical feasibility that achieves business and client goals. If you have experience developing strategies for a design and innovation practice with an impressive portfolio of business results; if you are innately curious, self-directed, highly collaborative, and instrumental in designing an intentional systems thinking imperative, you may be the design practitioner we are looking for.Required Job Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree in design strategy, design planning, or service design
•5 years of project work experience in the design strategy, design research or service design space.
•Experience planning and conducting research programs (including secondary and primary research), analyzing and synthesizing qualitative data and co-facilitating concept/design workshops
•Systems thinking
•Service design understanding
•Experience collaborating and working with multi-disciplinary teams.
•Experience with user-centered design practices, methods and tools.
•Experience generating user-friendly reports with strategic thinking and visuals.
•Verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
•Advanced degree
•Understanding of and ability to engage in the entire design process (planning, research, concept development, prototype and pilot).
