Job Description: Supervises technical, clerical and transportation personnel assigned to the shift they are working. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray image, knows how to operate the CR unit and sends the images to PACS for verification. Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees. Assigns personnel to duties and evaluates work progress in those areas. Organizes work flow by coordinating x-ray exams with those of other departments to ensure efficient operations. Reports to Director.
- Graduate of an Accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry ofRadiologic Technology
- Ability to perform C-Arm procedures in the operating room
- Ability to use Agfa CRs unit and GE PACS
- FL State License as General Radiographer
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
- Basic Life Support CPR
