HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is a 417-bed, full-service, acute hospital providing 24-hour comprehensive care in the community including trauma, burn, surgical, women's and children's services, behavioral health and diagnostic services, along with two full service free-standing ER facilities, one in Doral and the other at The Palms Town & Country.

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager provides total nutritional care as a member of the health care team.  The Clinical Dietitian assesses nutritional needs of patients; develops and implements nutritional care plans; communicates information pertinent to the nutritional care of the patient through written records systems.  Provides high quality care to patients.  Develops and maintains regular and therapeutic meals/menus.  Provides nutrition counseling to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and families and/or significant other.  Participates in the supervision of the Nutrition Services Personnel. The Clinical Dietitian strives daily to fulfill the objectives of the Food and Nutrition Services.


  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Graduate Dietitian who will take and pass RD exam within 1 yr of start date (condition of employment).

  • At least 1 year of experience preferred
