The Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist plays an essential role in the organization, ensuring employees have access to high-quality courses and learning experiences. This role performs several activities related to the company's learning and development functions including overall administration of the learning management system; reset passwords, add and remove user accounts, groups, assign and manage compliance training, mark learners as complete, perform general troubleshooting, create online and ILT courses, manage the user interface, and execute reports as needed. The LMS Specialist is responsible for supporting the Learning Management System, including partnering with the Ultipro/Schoox with ongoing maintenance, managing updates, reporting, and end-user support. The LMS Specialist assists with content development and review and helps with the implementation of a knowledge center and trainers guides.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert in the day to day management of the LMS for Corporate and Retail
• Use the LMS and Business Intelligence reporting tools to create specific, custom reports for targeted lists of users/leaders in Retail, Corp & DC
• Act as technical support for LMS technical issues experienced by the learner
• Provides support and troubleshooting of system for end-users (corporate, retail & DC)
• Enroll users in learning content according to specific requirements
• Manages the Training inbox, responding to and following up on customer requests and inquiries, escalate when necessary
• Assist with training on LMS functions as needed
• Maintain Standards and Practices for an LMS • Uploads, tests, and updates content in multiple formats
• Assist with revisions, version control, and other ancillary tasks related to online learning
• Actively participate in process development and improvement projects
• Manage reporting and assist with data analysis
• Maintains the learning management system and ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Drives best practices related to data integrity, naming conventions, training records and training documentation for the LMS
• Generates and analyzes LMS usage activity, course evaluation, compliance, and additional metrics regularly, supporting individual business compliance reporting as needed
• Creates/publishes/archives online/instructor-led courses, creates/assigns training curricula, designs complex certifications, checklists, tests, materials and more
• Create and maintain end-user documentation for processes related support of the learning management system
• Connected with professional organizations and maintains accessibility to industry resources • Other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications – Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' related work experience with interactive training content for LMS
• Minimum one year of HR experience a plus
• Prior experience with HR Systems, LMS, Database preferred
• Prior experience working in a retail environment preferred
• Prior experience in a customer-centric/customer service role is strongly preferred

Job Qualifications- Skills

• Software Experience: Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office
- PowerPoint, Word, Excel, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of Articulate 360 (Rise, Peek, Review, etc.), knowledge of Articulate Storyline or other authoring tools
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with cross-functional teams in a multi-faceted environment is critical
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills and data manipulation using Excel; intermediate Excel skills required (advanced Excel skills preferred).
• Effectively handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving
• History of positive results achieved collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
• Open to and able to apply constructive feedback • On-site attendance/presence is an essential function of the role
