The Registered Nurse Supervisor, Non-Acute is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of the department and oversees the timeliness and appropriateness of the delivery of care. Performs the RN role as warranted. Has accountability and responsibility for the professional development of the clinical staff in an assigned unit. Responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ambulatory experience in relevant specialty-specific area
• Completion of an approved RN program
• Minimum of three (3) years recent nursing experience in respective specialty or equivalent. Exceptions may be made for internal candidates on a case by case basis.
• Possess sound nursing skills, critical thinking, and strong clinical judgment in both routine and emergent patient assessments
• Ability to multitask and detail oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Hospital experience
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
