The Pharmacy Business Analyst serves as a resource and expert in the area of pharmacy projects and initiatives. Areas of focus include: pharmaceutical and product procurement, vendor agreements, contract compliance, cost analysis, utilization analysis and vendor relations. This responsibility may encompass acute care, outpatient retail, ambulatory, managed care, specialty pharmacy, outpatient infusion and long-term segments of care delivery. The position works under the direction of the System Pharmacy Business Manager.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 1-3 years related operational and/or data analysis experience; experience in database structures, and standard query and reporting tools; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Pharmacy operations experience.
