Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a United States or Royal College Board Certified/Board Eligible Pathologist to join its practice. At Guthrie you can work in an environment that is supportive both professionally and personally. H1-B Visa applicants accepted.
Highlights of the Position
- Regular performance of pathological analysis including microscopic analysis of submitted specimens including frozen sections and FNA interpretation and immediate adequacy assessment.
- Must be board certified or eligible by American Board of Pathology in both clinical and anatomical pathology
- Fellowship training in Cytopathologyor GI strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a sincere interest in working collaboratively with clinicians and administrators in the delivery of integrated care are essential
- Can be a hybrid position with some remote work
- Weekday and weekend call from home: Call is 1:5 with new hire Call will be 1:6
- No Autopsies
- No Grossing Specimens - completed by APP staff
- Three APPs in Lab
- Access to Digital Pathology
- Licensure in Pennsylvania and New York will be required

About the Facility:A 254-bed tertiary care referral center, Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, has received numerous national awards for the high-quality care it provides to patients. The hospital is the region's only Level I Trauma Center, accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation, and is served by Guthrie Air, a regional aeromedical helicopter program.
