Position Summary:

The Master Teacher is responsible for providing administrative support to the Head of School, overseeing and supporting all of the teachers on campus, ensuring that the academic program and curriculum are robust, adaptable, innovative, and meet state standards, and maintaining their own part-time teaching schedule in their content area of expertise.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of teaching and/or school administration experience is preferred. Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD is a plus. Candidates must be able to demonstrate leadership potential, a significant understanding of various teaching methods, patience, and a problem-solving approach to issues. Our ideal candidate is an outgoing, well-organized individual who is eager to work in a highly dynamic, energetic school setting.

Salary Range: $58,000-$67,000 USD

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Support hiring process as needed: post positions, screen resumes, interview, conduct mock teaching sessions, process new hire paperwork.

  • Facilitate all components of teacher training and keep required documentation.

  • New teacher mentor and support.

  • Oversee the academic program.

  • Support teachers with academic curriculum questions.

  • Conduct regular classroom observations, provide feedback to teachers, and assist Head of School with teacher evaluations.

  • Provide ongoing informal teacher training and support.

  • Help staff navigate company systems and processes.

  • Train, support, and audit teacher record keeping and Fusion processes.

  • Assist with student and staff emergent issues.

  • Assist with campus events.

  • Participate in leadership meetings.

  • Continuously enhance Fusion culture and happiness factor with students and staff.

  • Communicate frequently with the Head of School providing feedback on staff issues, feedback, and evaluations.

  • Meet weekly with the Head of School to discuss administrative needs.

  • Oversee the administration of formal assessment tools and surveys, disseminate the results, and incorporate results to support goal planning for both students and campus.

  • Other duties as assigned.
