VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER (PVD) - US

Fox Factory Performance Vehicle Development (PVD) is the premier upfitter of tier 1 automobiles. We dominate the market share with our partners at Ford, GM and Stellantis, while showcasing our inhouse brands of Black Widow, Rocky Ridge, and Black Ops. Position Summary:

The Vice President and General Manager drives business growth for the Performance Vehicle Development (PVD) division of the business organization.  Has P&L responsibility, manages teams and capacity needs at four locations: establishing and accomplishing business objectives.  Enables and communicates strategy, consistent with the corporate objectives, establishes management process to align team, deliver results, and communicate effectively throughout the organization and corporation.  Represents the strategy, the team and the business internally and externally for Fox across the industry.  Has unique industry relationships that collectively position the organization for success.  Has experience leading diverse and dispersed teams to aggressive growth plans in a highly collaborative environment, with revenue ranges of $100m-$600m annually.    Embraces the opportunity to learn from and work beside a highly experienced and knowledgeable executive team at both business/division and corporate levels. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Formulates and administers organization policies, and develops long-range goals and objectives.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of department or division for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives.
  • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Confers with other executives and administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
  • Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives. 
  • Demonstrates understanding of customer needs, adheres to OEM policies and requirements and consistently reviews new and existing business opportunities.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. 
  • Maintaining a smooth flow of work between departments and for resolving interdepartmental conflicts. 
  • Assure that the company stays on schedule and meets or exceeds the goals.  
  • Development of opportunities which are fruitful for the company, delivering products and services to customers and attaining their satisfaction.  
  • Directs the operations function in conjunction with business growth, introduction of new operational systems, meeting organizational financial objectives, and meeting organizational goals in relation to safety, quality, and timely delivery of products or services.
  • Coordinates needed support to operations areas through intradepartmental interface for smooth workflow and cost-efficient product or service.
  • Plans, prepares, controls, monitors, and forecasts organization's direct and/or indirect budgets.
  • Directs the capital expenditure and asset redeployment activities.
  • Ensures attainment of efficient and economical performance in relation to profit and year-end goals.
  • Participates in the investigation and implementation of new services, manufacturing processes, and product or systems technologies to meet the organization's objectives.
  • May serve as member of management committees on special studies.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field 

Master's degree preferred

Experience:

10+ years of relevant general management experience in a leadership role.

Willingness to work long hours as needed.
