Position Summary:

Responsible for regulating and authenticating financial transactions. Maintains a ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks.

Position Responsibilities:

• Month-end journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Expense tracking and GL management
• Assist in the Monitoring of aging reports and working with team members responsible
• Assist with the preparation of plant financial reports
• Assist in establishing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring accounting control procedures and accounting policies
• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual audits
• Prepare financial day slide deck for management review – work with various departments on report and consolidating the information to a presentation
• Assisting in the consolidation of annual budget package / forecasting updates
• Preparing spend package to send to plant manager, etc. 
• Ad hoc projects when applicable
• Advanced Excel, ERP, and computer sills 
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the company

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

CPA, CMA, or Master's degree a plus

Experience: 

4+ years of industry and manufacturing experience 

ERP required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office Environment

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
