WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Human Resources Supervisor will primarily focus on overseeing the onboarding processes, managing team member mobility across the organization, and ensuring an engaging and positive team member experience in our Atlanta office and across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment while ensuring smooth transitions for team members throughout their lifecycle with the company. Job duties include:

  • Lead the onboarding process, ensuring new hires in the corporate office have an exceptional experience from day one, including orientations, paperwork, system setups, and introductory training.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for new corporate team members, guiding them through the onboarding process, answering questions, and ensuring smooth integration into the company culture.
  • Manage offboarding for departing team members, ensuring that exit interviews are conducted, feedback is collected, and any necessary transitions (e.g., knowledge transfer, return of equipment, etc.) are executed seamlessly.
  • Continuously improve the onboarding and offboarding processes based on team member feedback, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Assist with internal mobility with managers and team members to facilitate smooth transitions related to role changes, promotions, or relocations, providing guidance on policies and processes.
  • Manage relocation logistics and accounting to ensure team members get the benefits provided to them.
  • Organize and execute team member engagement initiatives, including spearheading the annual team member engagement survey process, and other events that promote a positive and motivating workplace culture not only for corporate team members, but for all Fortrex team members.
  • Advise team members on HR policies, benefits, and resources, ensuring they feel valued and heard throughout their employment journey.
  • Assist the HR team with various projects throughout the year, such as open enrollment, hiring practices and policy development, executing offer letters and hiring activities.
  • Supervise the receptionist and help to oversee and lead Headquarter related activities for holidays, special events, and meetings.
  • Other job duties as assigned.


YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid US Driver's License.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in HR, with a focus on onboarding, team member mobility, or team member experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for creating an outstanding team member experience and fostering a positive, inclusive culture.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable with conducting onboarding sessions both in person and remote, as we have a dispersed workforce.


WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in a large, multi-site, and multi-shift organization with a diverse workforce.
  • HR Certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or S/PHR.
  • Experience in Private Equity.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement and HR innovation.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).


OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer and may also require periodic visits to

other company facilities requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE").
