To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr. Manager, Global HR Business Partner located in Austin, TX.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global HR Business Partner the Sr. Manager, Global Business Partner will collaborate with corporate business leaders to shape and implement strategic planning objectives that foster an organization capable of achieving significant and sustainable growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding talent management initiatives and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
What a typical day looks like:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with corporate business leaders to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational goals and drive growth.
- Talent Management Advisory: Provide expert advice and coaching to business leaders on a wide range of talent management topics, including competency frameworks, organizational design, workforce planning, leadership selection, executive coaching, performance management, retention strategies, and succession planning.
- Integrated Solutions Development: Work in partnership with local HR teams and subject matter experts to create and implement comprehensive people and organizational solutions, such as workforce and succession planning, leadership development programs, and reward and recognition strategies.
- Collaboration with Centers of Excellence (COEs): Partner with COEs to ensure that business leaders receive informed guidance on critical talent-related decisions.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Consultative Support: Provide strategic HR consultation to business leaders on organizational design, restructuring, talent management, and career development initiatives.
- Talent Implications Anticipation: Proactively identify talent implications and their impact on the organization. Recognize issues and opportunities to close performance gaps and deploy effective tools and programs to achieve the strategic vision and goals of the business.
- HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with business leaders and HR colleagues to craft and implement an HR strategy that meets the evolving needs of the business.
- HR Initiative Implementation: Plan, implement, and facilitate key HR initiatives, including workforce planning, talent management, and rewards planning.
- Training and Communication: Assist in the development of HR communications and provide training to managers on new programs, systems, and processes as needed.
- Goal Alignment: Cascade business segment goals and objectives to ensure optimal alignment between business strategies and human capital initiatives, facilitating effective implementation.
- Efficiency and Results: Drive organizational efficiency and positive outcomes through lean initiatives, aligning systems, processes, and structures to promote desired behaviors and enhance employee engagement.
- Financial Stewardship: Achieve sustainable business results through prudent management of people costs, assisting the business in making informed decisions regarding people investments.
- Employee Communication: Lead employee communication efforts within your business segment to foster transparency and engagement.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in organizational design, talent management, and change management.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
