Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Simulation &Industrial Engineer located in Guadalajara, South.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Simulation & Industrial Engineer role will be responsible for optimize manufacturing systems, drive continuous improvement, and enhance operational efficiency through data-driven analysis and innovative problem-solving.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop and deploy simulation models (FlexSim, Plant Simulation) for new product lines and existing operations to evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, capacity, and line balancing.
- Collaborate with global and local teams on simulation-driven decisions for NPI readiness and line configuration.
- Use lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct work measurement studies and analyze data to establish labor standards and define equipment utilization.
- Support factory layout design and define optimal workstations using AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to workflows, material handling, and space utilization.
- Maintain simulation libraries and continuously improve model accuracy and usability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, dashboards, reports, and SharePoint content for stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in global assessments and technical calls to ensure data alignment and readiness.
- Support standardization efforts, pre-assessment reviews, and project implementation across global sites.
- Ensure simulations are integrated effectively with existing Flex systems and operational tools.
- May develop management systems for cost reviews, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.
- Develops management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost reviews, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in simulation modeling and/or industrial engineering roles.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Comfortable leading meetings, assessments, and communicating with cross-functional, international teams.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with manufacturing environments, NPI projects, or simulation-driven engineering initiatives.
