Job Summary

Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Aguascalientes

The Quality Engineer will be based in Plastics that is required for Maintains quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection.
  • Supports Product Engineers on quality related issues.
  • Assures data availability and integrity for all quality related data. Consolidates and reports quality results.
  • Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
  • Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
  • Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.
  • Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing plastics products.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor degree (Industrial Engineer desirable)
  • Advance English
  • Knowledge in Six Sigma Methodologies is required, experience in MSA, SPC, DOEs, capability studies interpretation.
  • Knowledge of molding process (desirable).
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with employees of organization.
  • Leadership in the management of core tools to analyze and solve process problems.
