Job SummarySummary:
The Product Engineering Staff Engineer is responsible for driving the Embedded Power manufacturing products to meet the product specification. The role is to manages prototypes and industrialization stage products in terms of form, fit, and function. The Product Engineering Staff Engineer ensures that the products comply with the specified requirements. The Product Engineering Staff Engineer collaborates closely with the R&D team, Process Engineering, Test Development, and Site Manufacturing team to successfully realize the right-fit product release for mass production. The Product Engineering Staff Engineer manage FA & Products issues to different category products undergoing the industrialization process.
What a typical day looks like:
Failure analysis to identify and rectify issues encountered during prototyping and industrialization stages
Create a comprehensive cookbook for new product development, ensuring consistency and quality.
Implement a robust product-related failure analysis process to monitor and address performance issues during the sustaining stage.
Engage in collaborative efforts with R&D, Process Engineering, and Test Development to optimize the design for manufacturing (DFx) process.
Collaborate with process engineering and test development to develop a comprehensive manufacturing plan for newly developed products.
Work together site Engineering for product knowledge cascading
Strong understanding of manufacturing and development environments
Ability to efficiently work in a fast-moving multi-site / multi geography environments
To be both a team leader and an individual contributor
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Deep Embedded Power product knowledge
Proficient in the assembly and testing processes of power products
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Bachelor's degree, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in NPI/Industrialization, Product Engineering or a similar role.
Power product experience is a must.
