Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Materials System Developer located in Budapest,Hungary.
Reporting to the Material Project Manager, the Materials System Developer role involves developing, directing and coordinating supply chain activities. Enhance customer service levels possible by balancing supply and demand.
What a typical day looks like:
- Directs the team in the use of best practices in the daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning
- Manages, coaches and mentors a team. Works with the team on continuous development and performance management.
- Leading or coordination role in case of supply chain process improvements, projects, automation (new supply chain solutions implementations Baan & Kinaxis, NPIs, creating macros, reports)
- 1st level contact in case of any supply chain issue, bug within the local materials organization
- The main contact/SPOC for the local, regional, corporate IT team in case of various IT problems and developments
- The classic problem-solver position, excellent root cause analyser within supply chain
- Provide technical &/or project leadership for mid to large-scale supply chain/planning projects.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage supply chain support and maintenance activities to ensure that organization's material flow & planning systems function reliably and that supply chain resources are used effectively.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of information systems professionals planners and support staff to ensure that the Material organization's systems are supported effectively
- Research, evaluate, and recommend planning\visualization tools that will enhance the capabilities of the organization's Material information systems. (Baan \ Xelus \ Tableu \ Pulse \ Kinaxis, etc)
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of planning and procurement solutions
- Training of site planning & procurement resources
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor degree
- 3-5 years experience in one or more disciplines of supply chain management (Planning preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability, English Language a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and experienced in using database
- Demonstrate knowledge of MPS (Master Production Scheduling) and MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) systems and processes
- Excellent people management skills
- Existing SQL knowledge is an advantage; openness and willingness to learn is a requirement. After the probation period, starting this learning path is a condition for finalization.
- Macro writing experience is an advantage.
