Job Summary

Summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Design Quality Process Engineer located in our Timisoara site.

Reporting to our Director for Design, Process and Technology Engineering, the Design Quality Process Engineer develops, implements, coordinates, and performs Design Quality Assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.


 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Optimize the Flex Product Development Processes to manage transparent information sharing (including but not limited to System, Hardware, Mechanical, Software and Validation)
  • Champion and Promote the Flex Quality mindset in the respective projects and Global Design Centers.
  • Advocate for Flex Automotive Design Best Practices through Quality Assurance Audit Program based on globally defined engineering criteria.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal ASPICE audits
  • Represent the Global Flex Design Quality Organization in rolling out global processes to the Global Design Centers
  • Collaborate with Engineering and other Stakeholders to refine existing processes
  • Act as the Engineering Quality Interface for customer needs/ discussions (as needed).

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience and training and relevant experience developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems or related area.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Use of the following skills/tools: Electronic Assembly, Testing, Inspection, Mechanical & Electrical Tools
  • Must have knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and applicable regulations.
  • ASPICE Provisional Assessor Certification (Preferred)
