Job Description The Business Development Manager  will support our North American Business team. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for providing leadership in the planning, design and implementation of customers' specific business plans and will provide vision, penetration strategies and tactics to executive managers in order to develop and drive external and internal senior level relationships

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Further qualify leads from Internal Sales as sales opportunities;
  • Manage our Global Uni Directional Business
  • Contact potential customer through cold calls and emails;
  • Present our company to potential customers;
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products / services;
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction;
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with customers;
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market;
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Customer Business Leaders;
  • Report to the Business Development Vice President on (weekly / monthly / quarterly) quantitative and qualitative information;
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing / payment plans;
  • Document Voice of Customer (call reports, account plans, new opportunities) in Customer Relationship Management Tool;
  • Forecast of Customer projected volumes for 18 months.

Here is some of what you'll need (required):

  • +5 years of business development management experience
  • Customer Relationship Management experience (Sales)
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Travel required – Around 30%
