Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Automation & Equipment Engineer located in Wola Rakowa, Poland.

Reporting to the Engineering & Quality Manager, the Automation & Equipment Engineer is responsible for specifying, designing and maintaining automation equipment, tooling and applications as required to meet specifications.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Creating automation ideas in logistic and packaging area
  • Development and building of automation concepts and tools
  • Taking part in continuous improvement activities (for quality, environment, safety and efficiency)
  • Creating of equipment and machines specification for suppliers
  • Supplier selection through technical and financial analysis, taking into account Project requirements (lead time, quality, investment, risk)
  • Cooperation with Purchasing Department during commercial discussions with suppliers
  • Plan and conduct acceptance testing and support validation activities.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting during machine startup and commissioning, identifying problems, analyzing causes, defining and implementing measures, as well as occasional support for existing operations in areas where a subject matter expert is needed.
  • Prepare technical manuals, drawings, training documentation, and collaborate with the Maintenance team to create preventative maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides for automated equipment and processes
  • Training and knowledge transfer to machines direct operators

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Higher technical education (preferred fields: robotics, automation, electronics, or mechatronics)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in creating and implementing automation solutions in production and/or warehouse processes
  • Results-oriented, flexible, passionate, creative, practical, eager to learn and continuously improve, objective, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and methodical approach
  • Ability to create and verify electrical and pneumatic diagrams
  • Ability to solve technical issues, practical skills in machine assembly, maintenance and equipment installation
  • Experience in new machinery purchasing (equipment modification as well) and project coordination from technical perspective
  • Good communication skills, openness for other people, structured and organized, self-driven character
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English and Polish language are required

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of directives and standards related to safety and control system design,
  • Knowledge of vision systems and robot programming
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI technology
